What is Mountain ECHO?

Mountain ECHO is a Project ECHO® tele-mentoring program where participants will:

  • Engage in monthly sessions offering brief lectures and case-based clinical discussions
  • Gain knowledge in evidence-based practices regarding member care, therapeutic practices, medications, co-occurring diagnoses, social risks, stigma and more
  • Get to know fellow healthcare professionals from behavioral health, primary care, and community partners
  • Share ideas, community resources and enhance overall collaboration efforts in Arizona
Mission Statement

Mountain ECHO’s mission is to increase access to services, reduce stigma, and promote coordination of care throughout the communities it spans by providing support through education and collaborative case consultations.

  • Substance Use Disorders
  • Trauma in Children
  • Social Determinants of Health

Mountain ECHO Academy will run from September to April, on the first, second, and third Monday of each month, respectively, from 12-1pm via Zoom.

Each ECHO program hub is made up of a panel of subject matter experts from across the state, as well as statewide participants who contribute expertise to the “all teach, all learn” model.

Participants can choose to register for each series individually or bundle. Each session offers 1 hour of Continuing Education Units (CEU).* There is no cost for registration or CEUs.

*Receive a Certificate of Attendance that may be used for CEUs with your respective licensure board if the training is within your scope of practice. BCBSAZ Health Choice cannot guarantee that this certificate will be accepted by all licensing boards.
