At BCBSAZ Health Choice, we know that our members represent many cultures, races, and ethnicities.
Culture shapes how we act, think, and communicate. It also has an impact on how health needs are being met. Help us learn more about you and your community. This way we can improve how healthcare services are delivered to you and others.
By joining this council, you will help us find ways to improve:
- Our projects and communications to help promote care that supports your culture
- Member-and family-centered care
- How we work with our providers, doctors, agencies such as community centers and resource agencies, and communities to meet member needs
Meetings last one and a half hours, every month. During these meetings, you will:
- Share experiences
- Suggest improvements
- Gain understanding of cultural competency
- Receive training two times each year.

What does that mean? It means all members have the right to voice their opinions. And, choose how they receive healthcare services to meet their needs. Help us learn more about your experience as a BCBSAZ Health Choice member. This way we can improve how healthcare services are delivered to you and others.
By joining the council you will help us find ways to improve:
- Member experience and delivery of healthcare services
- How we collaborate and work with our network of providers, doctors, schools, resource agencies, and communities to meet member needs
Each meeting is on the second Monday of every third month.
During these meetings, you will:
