Financial assistance for your prescription drugs: Learn about Extra Help
Medicare beneficiaries who have limited resources and income may be able to get Extra Help, a government financial assistance program that helps pay for Medicare Part D costs. If you qualify for Extra Help, you will receive either a full or partial subsidy, depending on your income and assets. Many beneficiaries qualify for some level of Extra Help, even if they exceed income limits.
The Extra Help program can help you pay for:
- Your monthly Medicare premium
- Copays
- Coinsurance amounts
