New pharmacy discounts available

Great news! A new discount program for most* members enrolled in pharmacy benefits.

Price Edge is available at no charge and helps you save on covered and non-covered generic medications. It can even help you save money on over-the-counter (OTC) medications if you have a prescription. Medications not covered by your plan, including OTC products, do not count toward your yearly out-of-pocket limit or deductible.

How does Price Edge work?

• You are already set up. Simply show your ID card and a prescription from your doctor at any in-network pharmacy.
• Price Edge may lower copayment costs on certain covered medications. If your next fill qualifies, you will automatically receive a discount.
• If your plan does not cover a medication, Price Edge will offer a lower price at the pharmacy counter. Or ask your doctor if another covered medication is right for you.

If your prescription uses a Price Edge discount, you can view the discount on your pharmacy claims.

• Log in to your MyBlue account at azblue.com/MyBlue.
• Click on the Pharmacy tab from your member portal, then select View my claims.
• At the bottom of the claim an alert will be displayed: “Your price has been discounted with Price Edge for a competitive low market price.”

*Price Edge applies to members of employer groups that are managed as fully insured, administrative services, and balanced funding. Does not apply to ACA plans until 1/1/2025.
