HAPPY NEWS: Phoenix Children’s returns to AZ Blue!

In late December, AZ Blue invited Phoenix Children’s to restart negotiations. After five weeks of continuous discussions, we are pleased to report that Phoenix Children’s has returned to AZ Blue.

We are delighted that the dedicated doctors and care teams at Phoenix Children’s can continue to provide excellent care for AZ Blue members.

Here’s what members need to know:

1. AZ Blue members, with Phoenix Children’s in their plan, can access in-network care as of today, February 8, 2025. Confirm networks here.
2. For those same members, claims that were processed while Phoenix Children’s was out-of-network will be reprocessed as in-network. This may take a few months to complete.
3. Members are encouraged to monitor their benefits by registering or logging into their AZ Blue member portal at azblue.com/member.
